Hold my hand and don’t let go

We capped off an amazing summer with a weekend in the beautiful Whiteshell, where I also got to shoot Mark and Kristy’s engagement session. It had been raining on and off all day long so I was not sure what was going to happen during our shoot, or if it would happen at all. We managed to get a window of opportunity early that evening when we met up, so we went for it. I had no idea that we would hit it off so well especially after months of e-mail exchanges and not meeting or talking much in advance. When I met Mark and Kristy, I knew it would be a great shoot and they were really fun and affectionate with each other. Although we managed not to tumble down slippery rocks (okay, I did fall once), the rain did start again but it never dampened Mark and Kristy’s moods. I have to mention that I think Kristy is very beautiful (and Mark isn’t too shabby either), with what I call a movie star quality. And to top it off, I discovered that she is a Frye girl too. She was showing me her clothing assortment and as soon as I saw her boots, I knew right away. I think it was meant to be, ha ha. There were so many great photos, it was tough to choose which ones to post so here they are! Congratulations Mark and Kristy and best of luck with your upcoming wedding. That was fun!

This gorgeous quilt was made by Mark’s mom, a very talented lady.

Oh May, the photos are amazing! I can hardly type through my tears. Every one I looked at was my favourite until I scrolled to the next one and it was my favourite. I think you really “got them” and their love shows. Thank you so much!

Absolutely beautiful photos, May. I can see why Lesley would be so happy! The Whiteshell backdrop was a wonderful place to capture this couple. They do look so very much in love. Have fun picking one or two, Lesley!!!!!
