I get by with a little help from my friends

This post is so long overdue as it was taken back in the summertime. This was a shoot I had hoped to do for some time and after much back and forth between all the parents on dates during summer break, plus having to reschedule once, we managed to get all four of these girlfriends together one summer evening. Despite the crazy humidity, heat and the mosquitoes (I’m itchy thinking about it), I think we got some great images of these brown-eyed cuties. These four girls have a developed a great friendship the past year and I wanted to document it early on. I must say that each of these ladies is pretty special, beautiful and unique in her own way. Friends may come and go but true, lasting friendships are so hard to find – I truly hope this friendship stands the test of the teen and adult years. Love, love, love these girls. By the way, in case you were wondering, one of the four lovelies is mine.

What beautiful little girls! Your photos sure bring out the best in people. The quilt makes an awesome background.

These pictures are fantastic May! You did such a great job capturing the girls and their personalities. I love the colours and who can complain about the heat when the photographer packs some yummy lemonade. I do hope they remain good friends. They are all so lovely. I am so thankful that you took the time to create and capture these memories and these times in their lives.

Ahhhhhhh…. the pictures are amazing! I just love that we have this moment captured in time. When the girls grow up and the are 16 and in the midst of their teenager years, it will be awesome to pull these pictures out and remember when they were soooooooo sweet ! I have posted these up on facebook to share with my friends… it took me this long to sit down and actually do it…

Thanks May!
