I had the chance to visit a wonderful family on a perfect, hot summer day in Lac Du Bonnet. I’ve known Kristie, Kenny and their three amazing kids Graham, Julia and Lila, since the first time I shot them a few years ago. The kids are now taller, chattier and just as sweet (and silly) as ever. It was fun venturing out to their cottage to capture their family at their favourite summer retreat. I had no idea that the kids were skilled frog catchers – they must have netted at least 100 frogs (and a snake) just that morning. It was pretty hilarious watching them play with the frogs and put them on their heads! And they were kind enough to let me take three home for my own kiddos. I loved when Julia and Lila showed off their moves on the dock/catwalk and Graham’s sweet moments with their beloved family pup Bailey. I spent the sunny afternoon with this awesome family and enjoyed every minute of it. So to say this is a lengthy post is putting it mildly. These are “some” of my favourites. Enjoy!
