For a family who loves the water as much as this one does, it made sense to go to the beach for their photo session. Shoots at the beach, especially during the golden hours, are definitely one of my favourites. Maddy, Grace and Julia have all grown and changed so much in the last year so it was great to have this chance to document them before their hectic fall schedules started up again. The beach was great even though it was a tad chillier than we had expected, the girls had fun and while there was talk of going swimming, it didn’t happen (much to their parents’ relief). What I really enjoyed capturing this year was the relationship between the sisters, especially Maddy and Grace. I also loved the moment when someone “cut the cheese,” although I cannot remember who dealt it. That was by far one of the best moments of the night. Love this family and these photos!
