  • Hello!

Thanks for stopping by. In case you didn’t know, I love photography and I am fortunate to be able to share my passion with you. I simply cannot imagine going through life without photographs - there are just so many reasons for taking photos. To remember, to relive, to share, to learn, to tell a story, to create, to feel... I could go on forever. The wonderful thing about photographs is that they are instantaneous. And as we change through life, so do the images we want to capture. I believe in capturing beautiful, modern images for modern families. More importantly, I want to capture the connection between family members. I care very much about getting to know my clients and having fun during our sessions. I am not trying to create the perfect image of you - rather, real images of genuine happy, silly, fun and tender family moments. This site features my most recent session along with some personal images peppered in. I am so thrilled to have met so many wonderful people and they have all inspired me in one way or another.

Please enjoy the photos on this site and by all means, please feel free to get in touch with me if you think my style and vision matches yours.

Off to school we go!

September was a really, really exciting month for Aidan (and for his parents). Not only did he turn five, he also started kindergarten! I caught up with the whole family a couple of weeks ago and I peeked into Aidan’s classroom and I will admit I don’t remember my kindergarten classroom looking as cool or […]

Rock N Roll

The forecast called for 60% chance of showers on the day I met up with this family – fortunately, we took a chance and decided to stay outdoors and got our shoot done before the rain came. Tex, the little rock ‘n’ roll dude, was a bit nervous of me when he and his family […]

Love the fireman's hat! What an adorable shot. Great work May!

Little doll

I always enjoy photographing Miss Sophie and her family. Sophie reminds me of a little doll – with her big brown eyes, porcelain skin and beautiful hair. Even when she’s not smiling for me, her lovely brown eyes say so much. Now a full fledged three-year old, she seems to have gone from a little […]

These are really great May! I think the serious look suits Sophie perfectly and you captured that serious face so well. Love them! Dinh & Wade – you are two lucky parents!

Wow! I love the one of Sophie sitting on the bridge. What a cutie and great family pics too. Great shots May!

Kayden – Four days new

The family hat trick is complete, according to this little guy’s daddy, just in case anyone was keeping score. They have now joined the Party of Five club, much to our delight (hey, we can’t be the only party of five around here)! Kayden was very quiet and sweet, and all he wanted was to […]

I really like the photo of the two sitting and kissing their brother. That will be a precious moment for them to look back on when they are older.

Haydn & Owen

“The two things in life for which we are never truly prepared: twins.” -Josh Billings. Nancy and Greg, much like us, were initially shocked that they had gotten the two for one coupon when they found out they were expecting. I can only relate to how they felt when they first found out there were […]
